T4E Announces Sponsorship of Police1 Training Week 2026

FORT SMITH, Ark. — September 2026 — T4E® (Training for Engagement) is proud to sponsor Police1 Training Week, September 14–18, 2026, supporting a week dedicated to training, professional development and officer readiness.

Throughout Training Week, Police1 will share articles, resources and insights focused on the challenges instructors and officers face in preparing for the realities of the job. For T4E, the sponsorship is a natural extension of its work with law enforcement agencies and instructors who are looking for practical ways to add more realistic training to their programs.

Police1 Training Week September 14-18 2026

REALISTIC TRAINING. MORE REPETITIONS. BETTER PREPARATION.

There is no substitute for quality training, but agencies don't always have unlimited range time, ammunition, facilities or training budgets. That makes it important for instructors to have options that allow officers to train more frequently and work through situations that can't always be replicated on a live-fire range.

T4E training platforms give instructors another tool for building realistic exercises around the situations officers may face in the field.

Training applications can include:

  • Force-on-force and reality-based training
  • Close-quarters and building-clearing exercises
  • Decision-making and judgment scenarios
  • Weapon handling and manipulation
  • Movement and use-of-cover drills
  • Communication and de-escalation scenarios
  • Repetitive skills development
  • Instructor-led scenario training

These types of exercises allow officers to work through more than marksmanship. They can practice moving, communicating, making decisions and responding to changing circumstances while an instructor observes and provides feedback.

Just as importantly, training can be repeated. Officers can run a scenario, identify what worked and what didn't, make adjustments and run it again.

SUPPORTING THE INSTRUCTORS BEHIND THE TRAINING

Police1 Training Week is also an opportunity to recognize the instructors, training officers and agency leaders responsible for preparing officers for the field.

Good instructors are constantly looking for ways to make limited training time count. That means finding ways to create realistic scenarios, increase repetitions and challenge officers to think and make decisions instead of simply going through the motions.

That's where Training for Engagement comes in.

T4E gives instructors practical tools for scenario-based training. Whether the objective is working corners, clearing rooms, practicing communication or running a full force-on-force scenario, the focus is on giving officers an opportunity to work through those situations in training.

The idea is simple: experience it in training before you do on the street.

FOLLOW POLICE1 TRAINING WEEK: SEPTEMBER 14–18, 2026

T4E encourages officers, instructors, supervisors and agency leaders to follow Police1 Training Week September 14–18 and take advantage of the training resources being shared throughout the week.

Train more often. Train with purpose. Train for engagement.
